I hope Persephone & Hades are having a really nice visit (no, I dont believe she goes back because she was tricked)...
This dry dry cold weather just dries out my skin... I need someone to lotion me up ;-)
Today was good. Dad wanted to take the new car for a ride so we headed up to Ipswich and ate at the bar. The place is really clean. There is plexiglas between all the tables and plexiglas partitions between every couple of seats at the bar and the bartender is surrounded by plexiglas with only an opening wide enough to get the clam plate dinner through. We go early and you can still smell a bit of disinfectant in the air. The clams were good.
I went next store to the jewelry shop and ordered one of the clam rings I want... I want a thumb ring so my thumb was measured. All my other fingers have been swollen for over a year, but the thumbs are not. Yay. The job I am now doing at work causes a fair amount of hand pain...which is one reason my typing sucks lately, but I don't use my thumbs.
I figured I should get thing ring now with some of my Christmas money because work sent an email out how they are restructuring the pay schedule which means they I will not get paid in April. Great. They said the picked April because many people should be getting a tax refund and that could help. Gee thanks.
