Jan. 26th, 2021 03:27 pmFeeling very confined. Yes, its Covid, but its also the part of winter I don't care for. DRY.COLD.WINDY. o
I received a call from my elderly friends. They have been exposed to covid. I gave them the number of the testing place I used as they come to your home (I couldn't get Dad to wait in line anyplace). One friend has a piece of lung missing, COPD and a heart condition. She is 75. Her roommate bought lunch over to a 98 year old neighbor yesterday. Today they find out that the neighbor's visiting nurse has Covid so they were all exposed. Fingers crossed that they didn't catch it.
Today someone spotted the Bald Eagles here in my city. They said it was around 10 AM. I have read that Eagle hunt at first light and can also hunt later in the afternoon in the winter. They say that eating keeps their body temp up. Perhaps the angle of the light helps them see the fish. It gives me a motive to walk the length of the beach to get to where they visit in the winter. Its about 2.5 miles from my house. Lets see if a 400mm lens will make the capture.
