I went into town for Christmas shopping (since my Amazon account is still not letting me in)
I found the new Boston Home Goods. It made my Italian heart sing...lots of home decor. That and lots of things that would make fun/funky Christmas gifts.
I wrapped the stuff going to Wisconsin and Texas. It's weird...while I don't mind wrapping for Christmas day, I just don't like wrapping to mail. Maybe because I like to wrap just a couple days before the holiday... not that much is done here for the day.
Dad has started on me about buying my own gift from him... this always pisses me off. I have told him many times that buying my own gift makes me feel like a servant.
Tomorrow Dad has an MRI so he can get a shot for sciatica. He won't go without me so I can't go to the Christmas event in Rockport or the art show in Cambridge. I am not happy about that. He wants to do a few other things tomorrow too, but I said it depends on when we are finish as it is my weekend day. I work Sunday and it is no fun.
I am finding myself a bit anxious as this week I am having tests to see if what I had done in June worked...or it more needs to be cut out. I hope not. My insurance doesn't cover much in the way of surgery.
