So the cold I picked up earlier this week is now settled in my lungs. It will hang there for a bit... as it usually does. My lungs hang on to the cold longer now since I had the Pneumonia 10 years ago.

I met up with friends last night from the insurance company. While there was a lot of BS there I do miss going to work and having coworkers that were friendly and actual peers. We had a lovely dinner and then were supposed to head out to a night of live music...but fate was not with us. The car picked up a spike on the road so were stuck on the expressway for a couple hours and my friend did not have a spare tire. Were were rescued by Triple A.

My treat for today was to turn off the alarm clock and sleep in...or as "in" as the furry alarm clock would let me. Frankie cat wanted to play at 6 AM. It is a good thing he is really cute ;-)

Did grocery shopping with dad. Worked 3 hours in the ceramic cellar and made dad lunch.

Heading to the craft store and then for the rest of the night I will work on painting ceramics for the craft show on October 20th.

Oh noes! And just when you're sick and really need your sleep!

Take care of yourself. No getting pneumonia again.

Also, having recently had a flat tire, I feel your pain. Nothing worse than sitting on the highway waiting for AAA when you'd rather be somewhere else.
