Spent 3 this morning hours in the ceramic cellar. Spent 3 hours yesterday. It's physical work. I like that.

I almost have all the items cast that I want to try and sell at the ceramic show on 9/21.

Now I just have to clean the seams off the items and get the kiln fired up.

Off to a light lunch with Dad.

I am grilling a pork loin for dinner.

Then to the animal shelter. I think there are only 2 of us to walk the dogs tonight.

What are the "seams" that need to be removed before going in the kiln?
And you don't need to kiln anything; just set them outside on the sidewalk! ;-)

The ceramics I do is slipcase. I cast the pieces from mold. The seams are a line that runs around the item where the mold halves meet.
