ravena_kadeToday was colder than I thought it would be so I did not go out into the garden area.
I was very happy to watch the back neighbor pick up his fence section from my day lilies and secure it. He also looked to see if any of the plants were broken. I appreciate that.
Spring is springing. You can see the green buds on all the trees.
Heard from the cousin contractor. Cabinets will be in next week and he will come over. He has a plan for the electrician... and a better plan for the pipe in the wall. I will be at ease once I get hard price tags.
Dad and I went to look at some appliances. I wasn't;t sure what a microwave/range vent would look like and price out at. Not bad. We poked around and the guy at the appliance store suggested waiting a couple weeks because closer to Memorial Day there are HUGE sales. We shall see.
Also, while a bit modern for the look I am going for I do think the new Black Stainless Steel is sexy.

I hope you get affordable estimates. It would be nice to have a new kitchen to enjoy.
