Had a nice weekend away with my Phoenix Swords friends. It was nice to just talk about things we all are interested in.. I don't get that in my day to day. I have no idea how my 10 minutes on "stage" actually went. I just ran out and whipped a pirate with my scarf and tossed plastic fruit at her (sadly the fish did not make it on the trip). I laughed a lot =D I was also very happy it did not rain on us much. There was high humidity, but that doesn't really bother me when I am outside... It kills me when it is stuck in my house.

Today was hard. My back up did not do too bad...so Yay!... but the boss has now changed her mind about the month end reports. She wants them done in one day and wants to do her part on Thursday because she refuses to work on her vacation day. I told her I can understand not wanting that, but you don't seem to ave a a problem with me working on a holiday to get it done. It takes 2 full days. She was mad at me and said that I did have 2 days if I start first thing Monday and work all day Tuesday. While I wanted to say thank you for denying me my early holiday release time I did not... she was already angry that I spoke up. Instead I said that the people who run the first part of the reports are not done until after 1 PM so I can't start the month end reporting until an hour before I leave for the day. This woman is going to give me an ulcer.

I came home and did the house hold weekly food shopping, did dinner for/with Dad, worked in the ceramic studio for 2 hours, watered the gardens, did laundry, and started tying up some branches from a shrub that dad cut down... we are trying to get rid of some overgrown yew.. ack.

I am tired.

i'm glad you had a fun time out with Phoenix, but i still want to smack your boss. seriously, is she the only person alive who wants vacation?

oh no, she made sure the favorites had their time away...and together... as she told me when she told me I could not have surgery on certain days. The thing is that she is all about seniority and while I have been there 5 years, the others have been there 20.

I feel like I would point out and guilt trip your boss all the time about her unfair treatment and to hell with the consequences...

She has no guilt. She feels this is her right as a 34 year employee and I am only a 5 year employee. Everything is seniority with her.
