ravena_kadeSo I have been taking it easy per doc orders for a week ... and I am not built for that....
Yesterday I went to an art show in Essex (Massachusetts) in hopes to get an idea the greens I need for my marsh paintings. The show was in a barn in the heart of the Great Marsh that covers a lot of my favorite part of my state. There were lottos paintings of Marshes... but none as big as what I have planned. It was good to see the various interpretations. I also like to go art shows to remind myself that what I do is not so off the mark... and that if I lived in Ipswich I could place my own things in these shows. Funny thing... No shark painting, but there was an orange octopus and a wooden carving of a praying mantis that stood 6 ft tall.
We where there early mostly because I took Dad and he is an early bird by nature so we ended over to my favorite pub in Ipswich for a Lobster Roll. Sadly coming home was filled with traffic and my painting ambition died , but I wanted to make something... I told myself that I needed to get back in the creative swing and out of the dumps so I made a bracelet that had all the greens of the marshland I was in.
It is one of those memory wire bracelets that I like... I like them because they can incorporate many pretty beads and they are so simple to put on. The have a Bohemian look that I like and a layered look that doesn't have to be expensive.
