When I went home Monday I thought my boss was being a dick. Instead of saying "good luck" she told me that she would see me Wednesday... this after she told me that she could not move the day after she had the lighter version of this procedure done to her last year.

I get in today and my general ledger account is all f'd up. I asked that one thing be done and they could not do it. The woman that was supposed to do it when I was on jury duty said she did it after hours, but it was an absolute mess. I was pissed. The dinosaur said that people had troubles with it all day. When boss comes in she asked me about it and said that it was done. I said it was attempted but not cleared and I don't know what a lot of the entries were. It took me 2 hours to fix.

I had to call to her attention that I did not understand what the extra entries were because I did not receive any communications that they were being done and that the detail explanation did not make sense. If I received word I could have instructed my back up...or if someone just bothered to tell my back up. She was overwhelmed by the extra crap. The boss was pissy with me. Then the other woman came in and I asked her to explain the entries and the boss finally understood what I was saying...heaven forbid I dis a favored pet. From there I discovered what overwhelmed my back up... and then the boss came over to explain the transactions because the other woman did not have the capability to explain it in English. Sigh. All I needed was an email... Fuck...

And then the boss comes back over and says that she was sorry and forgot that I was out for medical reasons. She asked how it went and I told her that the meds were not really effective... but the cut was fast... so...

I was able to catch up and fix the blunders and explain what happened. I am not thrilled that out of the year I have only taken 2 full pto days for things out of my control and no one can do my work. Pisses me off> I will have to bring it up at my mid year review.

In better news I feel good. My finger hurt more the day after I sliced it than this. Yay. Now lets hope the doctor did her due diligence with sterilization.
