My health insurance sucks so bad it will not cover all of those age appropriate tests... I am 2 years past the one they want for 50... and I don't have the funds... Most of the people I know don't pay for this test as they are covered in their insurance.

I went to the website and they would not tell me if labs were covered or if the nutritionist would be covered. I need to find something called a bcp so I can tell myself if they will pay anything ... Ummm...that's why I contacted them.

I may still try the nutritionist for one visit and the single blood test... since for years I have been told that I am only fat... If I believe that and loos weight I should be perfect...right?

This is why I wanted to do things in an order...cat vet, my doctor stuff, Dad's doctor stuff then kitchen... and Dad bypassed that so now I don't know what I need until I get solid quotes, but he has gutted the walls. I told him this...

He didn't it when I was mad before, but He does now...

Health insurance is so awful right now. And the older we get the more expensive it is. :-(

Mine won't cover a nutritionist or anything like that. *Sigh*

not covering a colonoscopy is the height of idiocy. it's one of the cheaper more effective preventative tests.

grrr.

This. Not even a co-pay when I had mine.

I have United health care and it doesn't usually pay squat on stuff like mammograms and the like. I'd love to have insurance that does, but it seems like no matter what, they get it out of you. have you thought about a free or city run clinic? they might be able to help with lower cost tests.

I'm so sorry. I can't imagine what it must be like to not be insured for any medical eventuality :(

I am so angry that so many people have such expensive, shit insurance and that the Republicans don't seem to give a damn about anything except increasing profits for the insurance companies.
