I generally like gardening... it is some place where I can be in the here and the now and not think...

Tonight I go out and try to get some things done. I want everything big done at the end of Memorial Day weekend. Everything after is the light maintaining and weeding that is hobby gardening and not landscaping. IN theory gardening should be relaxing... except tonight. Tonight I planed 48 Durango Red marigolds... and as I popped each one in the ground my Dad was 4 inches away from me...and moved every time I moved... oi.

I am away Tomorrow night and Saturday. I hope to get some veggie plants on Sunday and finish the boarder garden and put down 10 bags of mulch. We shall see if the weather will be with me.

I love to be in gardens but don't really like gardening. I'm happy with my large patio with pots to plant and a (very) small patch of earth. The rest of the garden is communal so is done by professional gardeners.

Your marigolds will looks lovely :)
