Today I did 6 hours of yard work.... a big section, but only 1/8 of the winter clearing of debris and weeding. I use a garden claw to do this so right now my hands are aching. Tomorrow everything else will ache too. The night's plans are to load up on Tylenol and go to bed early.

I wish I had someone hereto rub some peppermint lotion my hands....

and I go out tomorrow to do more if it is not raining.

I also received some paperwork for the procedure I need next month. Weird. It says that I cannot wear jewelry. Ummm...if the doc is looking at my earrings then she is at the wrong end. If they mean something more ummm intimate then they should say so.

They say not to wear jewelery for three reasons: one, so nothing disappears while you are under anesthesia. Two, if you are being intubated they don't want anything in the way of the tube that would interfere with your breathing or could get knocked into your throat. Three, in case they have to put you in an MRI tube they don't want any metal getting picked up and screwing up the imaging.

this procedure is basically a pap with a live electrical wire carving you out while you are awake.
