I love how my boss thinks she can tell me when I can have a cancer procedure/ surgery. I told her I was well aware of the vacation schedule and I want it sooner than the end of June... but it is up to me and the Medical people. Oi.

Sorry my health should not wait because you gave half the department the same 2 weeks off.

On the better side she has had a similar procedure recently and she said that there really wasn’t a way she thought I could come into work the next day....

I was dumfounded. I went over with a calendar to show her that I know we were short staffed... I am a conscientious worker and even covered my work when my Mom DIED. All she had to say is you know what is up...do your best.

Frankly there is a part of me that would like to have the procedure done and come in the next day and walk up and say f'n whimp

the real rub is that she is only like this to me... if she was a bitch to everyone it would not bother me so much. She practically gives oral sex to 3 of the team members when the have just a cold.

Oh thank you. I have made myself some plans for the weekend to get away from head space and family so I am good.

The Dx is I have pre cancerous stuff and they way they get it out is really none too pleasant... While the deed frightens me I want it asap so I can enjoy my beach time and stuff. There is a month healing time where their could be weirdness.

YUP. I told her that the only reason I was talking to her now was because I planned on taking the first appointment available so as not to play with this and salvage my summer (the recovery can leave you feeling gross for a couple weeks)
