ravena_kadeI had a great weekend... enough to break the anxiety for tomorrows new system switch over.
I met up with a friend from the insurance company. We are the same age and have the same background. She lost her Mom a few months after I lost mine and from things done at a rehab....
The original plan was to go listen to a singer that she has known for 20 years... and has had a crus on... but things were sad because the person that she was in a relationship with just ghosted her... broke her heart so we had a lot to talk about...
and then we did the music thing... and I ended up playing sort of "wing man' as she told her musician friend that she was single... and he said that things were not going well with him and that he is single... and ...
well... I am a bad influence and kinda tried to set things in motion and no one really objected...
... my fingers are crossed for them
The music was good. The food was good... and while we ate and listened to music we caught up on things and had a good time. Just what was needed
I slept over her house and this morning, after a lazy morning (that I can't have at home) we went to a Greek restaurant for brunch.
Back home to day. He does not like being alone, but he golfed yesterday and I was home in the afternoon today so he wasn't alone too long. I am planing a few days away coming up and I am suggesting her visits my cousins or his sister.
and on another note...the weather sucks. Feels like a cold November.
Trying not to think about tomorrow. I will either fly or burn.
