Visa (as in Visa and Mastercard) is doing a change to their user interface. I am not thrilled with the education as the group all functions and all nations together in the phone classes so half of the 3 hours is poor people trying to figure out how to ask questions in English when English is not their first language...they have classes in Spanish too, but for many on the planet that does not fit either.

They keep saying changes will be minimal but they have changed all the user verbiage... all of it... when they have the classes they tell us what the changes are but the screen shots are so tiny you cannot read then and they do not have any way to enlarge it.

Today they said that there was a document to help us with the user interface that we could down load. It is 614 pages long...the table of contents is 25 pages long. I can't find my function anywhere... and they only have screen shots of the drop down menus but no actual prints of the pages where these drop down menus can be found.

614 pages....

oh, and for each mistake we make going into production my company will get fined $500.

and they wonder why I filled out the survey in a negative manner...

Can I please have a piece of the 500 million lottery ticket on Friday...please...

As with most things corporate they so often don't think anything through properly or discuss it with the people who will be using it before implementation and thus they suffer :(

Ugh, this type of thing can be avoided, it's what I do! *headdesk* It pains me that they didn't hire a competent technical writer or course developer to roll this out, because it would have saved so many man hours of all of you trying to figure things out.

I'm so sorry that Visa is being penny wise and pound foolish. =(
