Mar. 1st, 2018 09:42 pmThings have been stressy stressy stressy.
I need a few days off, but can't because my back up in on leave. I am going to see about a couple half days. I need one to get my painting into the art show.
Oi
Trying to paint the bedroom this weekend. Staying with the same color idea, but just a tad brighter and warmer. I am going to do the living room and dining room next. When that is done I hope to be able to move to the front porch and get that usable
Work is frustrating.
Today I get a text after I leave. The boss is working at home tomorrow because we are getting a storm and there may be flooding. Out of all f our workers I am the only one that lives near water or travels by water... okay. I am going in. If I work at home I will not only have to do my work, the coworker on maternity leaves work, and the older lady's brain numbing 800 accounting transactions if she does not come in. I believe that the older woman will come in because she has already used 2 weeks vacation time because her Mom has lost it with dementia and they can't find a nursing home that will take her. This woman can't afford to loose anymore time and has no lap top. I can't do all that work, and I will get phone calls if it is all not done, without the speed of the work network (it takes 10 minutes to open up a spread sheet at home) and without a printer.
I am curious if the boss even contacted the older woman, or if she will leave it up to me.... she has left it up to me several times last year.
... and if I have to listen to 8 hours of grief I will text the boss and then call her and put my phone on speaker so she can hear.
