First year in my life without a bunny.

It's a year of firsts...that suck...

I lobstered on Friday with Dad and other old friends... as an odd Easter dinner.

Today I break out those boots for spring.

I could manage lobster for any dinner, I haven't had it in an age.

Due to a few things I kinda stopped with Birthdays and celebrate Lobster Week...and then I thought that Lobster has always been a celebratory food for me so now I try and lobster at the holidays. Come summer there is a fisherman that will sell lobster right off the boat for what a market would pay him so I can get 3 or for for what a lobster meal would cost...

The boots are ridiculously expensive flower embroidered cowboy boots. I say them about 5 years ago and said that they would be my 50 birthday present to myself ...but it took a year and a half to get to Texas so I could try them on before I bought. They were something I have wanted for when I did art shows and stuff...as a conversation starter....

It's hard to give up bunnies. When my mother declared that my sister and I were "too old" and that she was going to stop doing Easter Baskets, my sister and I took over buying Easter goodies for each other for a couple of years.
