...and now I am in need of medical tests... great... and lousy insurance so it may end up waiting. not smart... but ... that is the way things are going.

Drinking or screaming... or both?


I can't get a prescription for the kitty. The vets office says it comes with the feline adaptor... ummm...asthma medicine is prescription... The adaptor comes Thursday. I need a new vet... This one is close and comes highly recommended...but they are not thrilling me.

I'm sorry you have so many stresses at the moment, it's horrible to feel that way. I don't get stressed much these days but I used to pamper myself with a long soak in a bubble bath, followed by a feel good movie and chocolate :)

I hope you find a good vet to replace they one you have. How is Frankie?

He is having a couple asthma attacks a day. they can go on for a couple minutes to 15 or 20. At least that is what I have seen when I am not working. He is still active and loves to play hard...and does not have an attack then. Once the episode is over it is like it never happened.

what is irksome is that last Wednesday I took him in for chest X-rays. They told me they would order the adapter for cats that let them take an inhaler. They told me it would be here this week. Then on Monday at dinner time they call and tell me to order it myself as it would be cheaper... they were open on Friday and Saturday. The could have called. Then they are telling me that it comes with medicine. No. Asthma meds require a prescription...but they say no. So I have to get the adaptor and will call back for a med. I have an appointment for a lesson on how to give the med on Tuesday...

Poor little guy :/ How very frustrating for you. I hope you manage to get his medication sorted out to your satisfaction in the end.

i don't understand, with the diagnosis made, why your vet is dragging on a prescription.

the staff is saying that a med comes with the adaptor... I say no as the box did not say so and you can't get a prescription on Amazon. I would love to be wrong...but I can read the product description
