The craft show went well. It was enjoyable and I made $100. So not bad.

The Texas relatives left Sunday. My Uncle was choked up. He knows that he may not see some relatives again due. I wish I could enjoy their visits, but they push it by staying too long . I feel bad.

My friend has been moved from the hospital I work at to a rehab hospital. I hope they can get her walking so she can go home. Her roommate is going to see if Mass Health will pay for a caregiver for overnight. She can do day time, but she is 83 years old and cannot lift friend if she falls or needs help in the bathroom.

The state of the nation is making me ill. OMG. Do I need to find another country?

A news article was published stating my city was 1.6 billion dollars in debt and my taxes are going up again to cover and then going up more to pay the Mayor's ridiculous pay hike. I will never get a raise at the job I have, but I am stuck because I have to be able to get Dad to dr appointments... it makes my head hurt.

Tomorrow Dad has an 8 AM cardiologist appointment and a palative care appointment at 9:15 AM. His blood tests are starting to come back abnormal so things are progressing. His organs are not cleaning his blood and his lungs are not releasing Carbon Dioxide like they did back in March.

Is your dad okay with letting things run it's course?

Your mayor is taking a raise with the city in that much debt?
Sounds like your city council needs to grow a pair and take it back. :o

YAY for a good craft show. :)

And cardiac surgery can be very hard on a body, physically and mentally. :o

Politicians on every level should never be allowed to give themselves raises. :o :o :o

HOORAY FOR CRAFT SHOW!!

The state of the nation is making me ill. OMG. Do I need to find another country?

Yup. Yuuuuuuup.

If feels like we are being dragged down with the dropped anchor.

I might have made a mistake of watching "Falling Down" on YouTube earlier tonight. It was free with ads and I hadn't seen it in years and couldn't quite remember the nuances. A bit jarring and current to say the least.

Glad you had a good craft show and made some money!

I think the state of your nation is making everyone ill :/ I really hope no one has to find another country.

At least your relatives have returned home so hopefully you'll be getting a bit of peace.

The Texas relatives left Sunday.

A month long visit is a really long time. The only people I know who visit relatives for that long live in India, and they're flying across the international date line. Texas is only one hours difference, so it's not like they even need to get over jet lag.

The state of the nation is making me ill.

Same. Although the huge turnouts for No Kings 2 really gives me hope. He likes to think that he's popular, but he's not at all. I read that in one very deep red town, 2/3 of the population showed up to protest.

my city was 1.6 billion dollars in debt

Yikes! Why does a mayor who can't balance their budge deserve a raise?

Congrats at the craft show!

Yes, we need to go to a different country, as this is wayyyyy out of control the awful things that are going on here. :(
