So Auntie went to the hospital the same day as Stroke cousin came back from rehab. Auntie cam home the next day.
Saturday Cancer cousin with the spinal surgery was cleared to drive again... Yay.
Sunday stroke cousin has a phone call appointment with a doctor about sores she sees in her mouth. The doctor thinks she brought and infection/ virus home from the rehab. Great. She should quarantine. She doesn't.
Monday cancer cousin doesn't feel great. Tuesday she has Chemo and then the rest of the week they are retrieving stem cells to save for when the cancer stops allowing her body to make proper white blood cells (most people with her cancer only live 5 to 10 years... there is no cure or remission). She has caught what ever crud stroke cousin brought home from rehab. Her Chemo and stem cell procedures have all been cancelled and she has to quarantine for maybe 2 weeks.
The family is very stressed and upset. They have seen a Therapist (the sisters, not my 96 Aunt). The therapist says that stroke cousins should not live with them if she is not going to try and fit in with the family.
