Does anyone know if I can delete my linked in profile and create another one?

The VP that got let go tried to link to me and he said that the site wanted him to sign up for a premium. He linked with others in my group and I was the only one that got that. He wanted to show me that so I didn't feel like he did not want to follow me there. I thought that was nice of him.

Anyone have any ideas?

I don't see why not, but you may want to use a different email address for your new page.

No idea. But do you really want to have to re-link to everyone you're already connected to?

True, but right now no one will link to me if they think they have to pay.

That and I really would not mind dropping the church people and some others. Nothing panned out for jobs, but people have actually contacted me to try and get me to do free things for them or their kids.

I wonder if he hit some sort of monthly limit for adding people? I know that at one point I was doing a ton of research and actually discovered that there is a limit to how many searches you can do in a month if you have LinkedIn for free. When you hit the limit they pop up a little message telling you if you want to do any more searches, you can buy the premium service. If he just left the job and is linking to everyone he knows at the company, he might have hit some limit to the number of invitations he can send at one time.

I think that's much more likely than there being something wrong with your account.
