another financial bomb... sigh...

So happy it is warm and I have not had to buy oil. I filled the tank up this time last year as I thought Ma would be home. I will just buy what I need now.

I cancelled a few things... I am looking to cancel a few more... They make it hard to cancel...deliberately hard...

I just need to make it until tax time...

and think about things.

I finally cancelled my paid for aol. Hopefully that won't wreck anything. I did like some of the benefits, but not enough to continue. Besides if things go wonkie I have a gmail that I don't use, but saved my name with.

I saw a think called a ROKU TV. It sounds like a smart TV that has ROKU built in (to get some cable programming). I need to look into that. If I am smart enough to hook it up then I can do the millennial thing and not pay for cable....I do think I would pay for Brit Box and HULU...but I am not really sure about that.

My oil tank is topped off. Thanks to global warming it looks like it will satay that way for some time. ;-)

Dad says we should wait ... I like to top off in June, but Ma's medical bills and the over budget kitchen work borked my usually planning. I hope I can wait until December to turn it on... but that would be wishful thinking.

Not only do I not have cable, I don't even have a television. I subscribe to Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Starz on the computer and iPad, and that gets me all the television exposure I need, and for MUCH cheaper than cable.
