Another week has flown by. Working remote has given me what I should rightly call anxiety attacks. In analyzing what my trigger is I find it a combination of things. An example is when the boss is trying to make me responsible for faulty connection, but my home WIFI is perfect at the same time she is calling me about not being fast enough while 2 other people are texting me at the same time and my Dad is also calling at the exact same time. I ended up going in on Thursday because people had shut off my work pc ...why I have no idea. It worked at 5AM and stopped when they got in and shut it down. I think someone was vacuuming and pulled out the plug...but didn't have the brains to turn back on the pc. Oi.

The boss also was grouchy on her day in for 2 reasons...Her team did not win the Super Bowl and she finally realized that the new guy is working under a spare teller ID code. She was mad that the flood didn't teller her this...she even said I should have know better. Ummm... No. I stood my ground. I told her that the floor has brought several behavior issues to managements attention and it was thought that you didn't want him with his own teller number. People were afraid to ask about it.

I took the cat to the vet on Wednesday. All they could tell me is that his allergies are acting up. I changed his food from rabbit to dick to see if that would help and I have some ear wash. They did check him over and said he needed a dental. I know he does and I am thinking he may need an extraction. I just need a quote. I hate to have him under anesthesia.

Valentine's day I went and visited my friends in elderly housing. They let me vent about work and family. I needed that. I spend the rest of the night with my cat.

Saturday I went with Dad to visit the cousin in the rehab. She is doing so much better but I think she has a long road ahead of her. Her speech is delayed because she has to concentrate on moving her mouth. She can move her arm and leg on the left side but they are not weight baring all the time. Her Physical therapy sessions are great, but then she is laying in bed for most of the week days and all of the weekends so things regress. They day staff just makes sure she gets food and gets put on a bed pan. They will not walk her to the bathroom. It takes 2, sometimes 3 people to get her on the bed pan as she is a large woman... and she uses it almost every half hour. Her plan is to go to her sisters' house on February 25. I don't think that will happen as no one can lift her. She needs to go up 3 steps and be able to walk to the bathroom with a walker.

Dear Bosslady,
Put on your big girl panties and deal with worthless newbie already. UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And YAY for her team losing. lol............

That so reminds me of my dad when he went into the nursing home.
The first two weeks were "For Therapy", and as soon as those two weeks were done they just put him in a wheelchair and rarely if ever walked him again. ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your boss lady is a waste of space. Good for you holding your ground with her. It's about time she took responsibility for all that is wrong, I wonder what her boss thinks about her, or perhaps s/he doesn't care? *hugs*
