ravena_kadeThis weekend I was able to make a great start on the craft room clean up. Sorted all the beading supply by color and put together a rolling cabinet/cart that holds everything with lots of extra space. Gee, I can buy even more beads. At the same time I designed a new necklace. =) The floor space is clear so I can bring up the rung that has been living on Dad's porch. The drafting board is also clear so I can actually paint next weekend. Yay.
I also moved my work set up from my dining room back to the tiny kitchen. I found that I was too easily distracted sitting in the middle of everything...floating in the middle of a room. My work is mostly spreadsheets and I hate spread sheets so anything is better than looking at spread sheets. I put myself in the kitchen facing the wall. It's like being in a little cubby. I hope to tackle an office set up in the cellar by summer. It would be best to be out of my apartment. I like a separation of space. Last week I was so angry at some crap the boss pulled that I spent all day in my house upset. My home is supposed to be a safe place. I dont want work crap in it. I like to leave for at work...not in my dining room. At least if I am in the cellar I have a place to walk away from.
Since the sun was out and t was almost 40 degrees I decided to shovel off the deck and use the grill. Dad was at the cousins all day watching t=football so I could eat anything and not have to plan for his low sodium food. It was nice. I had grilled char su pork. Yummy.
