Feeling crappier today. I was filling up on antihistamines to run through the days, but they don't like me much and today I have been dizzy. I decided to not push it today and cancelled going to the cousins house for Chinese Food. I saw them Christmas and last night. My head says nap today. I am not coughing and not sneezing, but my sinuses are all out of whack. I figure a weekend in pjs will have me better for the new year.

Last night I was at the cousins as they invited family over. I wasn't coughing or sneezing so I went with a mask and saw people I wanted to see. We were told that they would have Italian food. Instead all they had was hotdogs and kielbasa...nothing my Dad can eat. Dad had a roll and when we came home I made homemade something to eat. This morning he gained 2 pounds and he told me that he cheated and had a hotdog when I wasn't looking. Sigh.

Take care of yourself. I think you are fast approaching the “my father is going to have to decide how he manages his health.” Part. My mom wanted live the woods with her boyfriend and live on candy, liquor and red meat. I decided to honor that choice. I know you are much more hands on with your dad nd wish he was more grateful to you. Btw looking forward to seeing you next weekend

all of this. i mean... i'm there, too. i want YOU To be healthy, Jen. i get that you're worried about your Dad, and maybe some of it is tied up in what happened with your Mom, but the only person you can truly control is you. i'm fighting every day just to get my mom to eat food instead of cookies for breakfast, so i know the feeling. and yet, her GP said i should just let her have what she wants; she's nearly 90 and it's her choice. so... doctor's orders.

i mean... i still try and she still sneaks cookies anyway. so...
