ravena_kadeIs it weird that I DO NOT LIKE WORKING REMOTE.
I started at 6 AM and at 9 my connection died. It took over an hour to get it back up. Boss thinks I'm an idiot like I don't know the passwords. We had to call the outsourced IT guy. There was something wrong with the desktop at work so my laptop lost connection. The it guys said it wasn't anything I did. I asked if he could send that in an email and copy the boss.
My boss had me screaming in frustration today. She is on vacation all next week. Fine. I had tomorrow off. 10 minutes before I leave she starts asking me if I had done things that she never told me to do. She wants all the work I finished 8 days ago coped over to a folder so she could review. She was mad that I had not done it yet. I told her that on 12 10 I emailed her saying I was finished with the reporting and the response back was "Okay. Thank You" I told her I would cancel my PTO as I made plans for tonight and could not stay late to do it. She said not to and that I should enjoy my day off. I'm sorry, but I won't be able to now. I won't be able to relax when I know that this needs to be done. I wanted everything caught up and thought it would be fine since I hadn't heard back in a week.
