ravena_kadeStill sad about the passing of the you tube art person. Her name was Cinnamon Cooney. She was known as the Art Sherpa. It is all over my social media feeds. She had 746000 subscribers on you tube. Her family is in rough shape as the sole supporting income was from this you tube channel. The thing is that if every subscriber who says they want to help just sent in $1.00 that would be a lot of money to get them on their feet. Her Mother is also an artist that teaches on you tube. I wonder if she will come back.
I finished up my last ceramic order for the year. I won't pick up a ceramic piece until January. I need to start clearing out my bedroom and makeing a sleeping spot for Me in the craft room.
When I went back to work in the office on Friday I found that there were issues. At 6;30 I get a text from the boss asking if the office manager trainee was in yet. Not yet. She told me to tell her to call her ASAP when she gets in. A few minutes later she texts back and asks if the new guy is in yet. I said no, he usually comes in just a minute or two before they open at 7. I asked if there was something wrong. Could I help? No response. I asked Rudi what was going and he told me that they had to go into the new guy's drawer and the found that he was hiding a check that a customer had been calling about. Rudi told the boss yesterday. The new guy was out sick for 2 days. The new guy told the customer that the check was lost in the mail, but the customer kept calling. Oh boy. Boss is in on Tuesday for the Christmas breakfast. Not a good day to fire anyone.
Saturday I went to dinner with Dad and the eldest cousin that does not live with the others. She is not part of the herd. It was nice to do something Christmasy. The food was good. The restaurant was decked out for the holiday with Santa and Mrs Claus visiting tables with kids at them. We then went to see the cousin's new apartment. It is in an over 55 place and was very nice. A tad bigger tan my place. She should be happy there.
Today I went to the cousins to see my aunt as I did not go last week. They watched football. I slept a bit.
This week Dad has a Dr appointment. I am hoping to start to put together a time line. He just needs a colonoscopy. I am hoping they do that mid January. He will have to stay in the hospital for the prep as it can drop his weak blood pressure even lower. The boss is insisting that no one be out in January because of year end tax stuff. I don't know if I can hold off all this medical stuff until February.

January sounds tough with your dad's appointments, sigh.
