I went into the job on Friday. The boss had off. She texted me twice to tell me things that needed to be done to keep me busy. I have lots of things on my list. I know what needs to be done. I hate being pushed. The things can't be done as the data isnt here yet. The other thing that keeps me from working is the scanner. It's new. It's a piece of shit. I go to scan a page and it only scans an inch of the center. I tried to scan for 2 hours. I can't call the IT guy and ask a question because it costs $155 per question.

The management trainee was training another person on how to verify that the check file was sent over to Credit Union system. This is the thing that didn't happen on Tuesday morning to the tine of $87000. The coworkers didn't see the big deal because it was caught and the verification was a waste of their time. It's no big deal. Sigh. Either they don't understand that we could eat that money or they don't care because it's the bosses problem. That drives me nuts. The thing is that you get what you pay for. Low paid workers don't care.

Yesterday I had wanted to visit my Dad's sister. I found out that she didn't put up her tree because the couldn't find it in the garage. I thought I would bring over the ceramic tree I did not sell. Sadly as we were on our way she called to say she woke up sick...fever/sore throat etc. I decided to go to a restaurant that wasn't far away for a good lobster roll...Dad is always happy to eat out. It was good.

On the way back thought we could go to the Christmas market in Boston. We paid for parking and walked over. There were 1000 people in like and they were not letting anyone in for 2 hours because it was filled to capacity. We walked back to the parking and we were charged $35 to park for 12 minutes. Really.

Came home and worked on the last ceramic items for the year. I also had a text chat with a friend who was stuck at the airport. It was a nice chat and paint time.

Today is a Christmas dinner with the Animal shelter girls... and maybe I will come home and decorate the Christmas tree for the down stairs.

because it costs $155 per question

Who gets billed for the questions? And is there a protocol in place if one really needs help from IT?

OMg, $35 for 12 minutes of parking? :o :o :o
That's insane. :o

Thankfully your aunt called to say she was sick so you didn't go straight into that. :o

I finally put the lights on my tree.
900 clear white sparkling lights. :)
Now to figure out the decorations. lol......
Hugs, Jon

Not sure if what you are scanning is confidential (and even if it is at this point) there are scanner apps for your phone. I use TurboScan

I hate Boston parking, it's such a scam. They charge you for the whole day, no matter how long you're there.
