This week was prep for my last season craft show. Between that and Dad's dr appointments I made a few mistakes at work. They were not huge. Just small typos, bt I did not catch them. I think my brain is fried, but the boss is impatient with me. Sigh. Glad the season is done so I hope I can concentrate better. Not sure how to do that when the next few months may involve pretty extreme heart surgery and caregiving. Oh well. If she fires me I won't get a job until after Dad is done. I don't think she is pissed off enough to let me go before Year end.


The craft show was okay. I really just have to get things done during the year so I can show my best at the shows. It's just that trying to deal with the killer commutes and no training made me not even go into the craft room since last year. Not great.

My best interaction was with a teenage boy...yeah, that sounds dodgy ;-). The boy walked by and started identifying some of the stones I had... we had a not chat. He asked if I could make anything with crystals he had. He wanted to make gifts out of them. I showed him some you tube videos that could teach him how to wire wrap and make pendants. He liked that. Later he came back with his cousin. He showed him a sardonyx necklace and said "Doesn't that look like something my Mom would wear"? The cousin was in his 20s and he agreed. The cousin pulls out some money and the younger boy says that his folks said he couldn't buy anything. The cousin said that he would buy it and give it to the boy to give his Mother. That was nice.

I did not sell my new tree, but I did sell 3 large snowmen so that was good. The woman who bought my Christmas tree a couple weeks ago bought one of the big snow men.

I may not make a lot f money, but it makes me feel good that things I make become part of people's gift giving and Christmas traditions.

If your "bosslady", and I really do use quotes as an insult, fires you for that and she hasn't fired the idiot, then she needs to be fired. :o :o :o

I really need to find a way to pull the training out of her. I always feel she needs to run away. She won't put in the time. The idiot has 3 people willing to train him and he is just a pain in the ass. She hasn't figured out that by keeping him she will loose 1 or 2 of the others.

I would hate for others to leave because of him, but I hope if they do, they say it loud and clear that that is the reason for their leaving. :o :o :o
