Nov. 17th, 2024 10:55 amYesterday we went to Ipswich. There is a small farmstand store that has lots of low sodium/ no sodium relishes and pickles. We also visited the Apple Orchid farm one more time before they closed. Picked up a pie, some pie and some cider.
The colors were browns and russets. The marsh grass golden. Winder is coming. The town of Ipswich is getting ready for its winter nap.
We went to the bar and had scallops and Lobster rolls. They were very good. I know if I could live there I would probably eat at the bar a few nights a week.
Today is working on stuff for the craft show and pre cooking meals. Once again they are shutting down the trains I use so my commute will be 2 to 3 hours to get home at night.

Date: 2024-11-18 01:35 am (UTC)Just 2 days after I walked past Gov. Healey announcing the "end" of slow-zones on the orange line, the train leaving Back Bay to Oak Grove left the platform at a snail's pace. I could have walked to Tufts Medical Center stop faster.
Anyway. Glad to hear about the nice outing to Ipswich. Yay for low sodium things!!
As much as I love the early Fall colors, I admit there are times I don't mind the dull browns and grays, I think it makes the sky more vivid blue.
