Today was a take the job and shove it day... but I can't... If I quit I can't be a for a surgery and a family member will die.

The longer I am at my job the more I have days like that.
We got an email from employer they are giving everybody that works 1/2 to full time a gift of $1000, and everybody else will get $750. Nurse I worked with last night figured out after all the taxes are taken out, we are getting $640. How generous.
They do things like this and then continue to complain about the budget. And add into the equation that they still haven't given us union employees a contract. We have been working without a contract since about February.

Yeah. The boss was in yesterday showing off photos of her new Lexus, while the workers are lucky if they can afford to take the bus.

I just need to make it to 65.

Oh, I am so happy for boss lady and her new Lexus.
UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You can see that kind of thing at my work too. You walk through the parking ramp and it's Mecedes, Audi, Lexus, Cadillac, Tesla, BMW.....
And prior to getting my home loan, I was driving $6000 used cars. :o
Somebody is making the big bucks but it's not me. :o

I couldn't agree more with needing to make it to 65. :o
