ravena_kadeToday is the first work from home day. I was anxious that things wouldn't work so I started at 4:15 AM... old habits die hard. Once I trust that the system will work I won't start before 6 AM when I am remote. 6 AM to 2:30 were my old hours at Bothe the insurance company and the old bank. I like that
The cat is happy.
I am set up in my dining room. Not fond of that. I will need to work in the cellar and set up the office like I want. There is no way I can work in the winter here with my Sister and sis in the same small space. I also want to be hardwired into the modem when I move my office Ito the cellar. My sis can help with that.
I have visited the fridge 3 times already... old habits die hard
So far I can do all my daily recon stuff at home. I cannot pay invoices as the check printer is at the office.
I will work with the boss to see about setting up a work flow. Maybe work from home Tuesdays or Fridays. I want to be in when the boss is in. I know she b=never wants in on a Friday, but if Friday is the last day of the month I need to be in to pay invoices and get the actual checks. I'm really not sure why we pay anything with checks anymore. Just make an ACH payment.
I now need to focus on training myself... and that entails making the boss tell me things when she gets back from vacation.
