So Dad's echo came back. His heart function is worse. His valves are leaking moderately. The cardiologist may want to increase his fluid pills but that could kill his kidneys. We have an appointment next week to discuss. Dad had an eye appointment tonight. It was long as the Dr said with his current vision he would not pass his eye exam for his license renewal in October. He has severe cataracts. The doc was shocked when I told her that my Mom went blind from cataracts and as a result fell and died from contamination in the hospital. She said that with new glasses he could get a restricted license (only day) and then I need to schedule him for a consult for surgery on both eyes, but they are not sure he can have surgery with his heart damage. I now need to schedule an appointment with Triple A to renew his license when he gets new glasses. He will flunk that and then I have to schedule an appointment too go back to they eye doctor where she can then fill out the forms to approve him for the restricted license. Then I have to make an appointment to redo the license for the restriction. Then do the surgeries then make another appointment to get new glasses . After the surgery then go back for a non restricted license. Yeah. And I have to take vacation time for all of these things and I can't count on my cousins now that my Aunt is mentally unstable and needs 24 hour care. Meanwhile I should be scheduling 3 root canals and follow up on a nodule in Lefty boob along with checking out some abdominal pains... well maybe in 2026.
