Yesterday the boss was in. In between 5 meetings she tried to rush some training, but I wasn't getting it the way she was explaining it. She also had her music playing and other things were going on. It was math, but the way she went at it put me on the spot. She kept saying different ways of doing it but not shutting up confused me. She called in a coworker to put out how I wasn't getting it. Her point was to see if that worker understood her. All it did was humiliate me. I shut up. I don't have a poker face. I told her I need a minute as I am embarrassed now and need a moment to recover. She said that wasn't what she meant to do. I said that I realized what she was trying to do, but it embarrassed me. We moved to my desk to do a couple more reports. She sat with me and she did it again. I turned away from her. The 2 coworkers I faced could tell I was upset. I took a few breaths and went back to the task at hand. I did a third report pretty much on my own. There was something wrong and I had to have it explained. There was nothing wrong. Just a payment that was handled differently. She is taking her Mom to an appointment today so she will train with me this morning and run away at 11. I think I would rather be angry with $400 more dollars and my old commute back.

Nope. She was an auditor who audited the bank years ago. The person running then basically trashed everything and quit. The Board put it back together with her help. Since she knew everything she helped get it running and then the asked her to be CEO.
