My Dad is getting on my nerves about respecting my time. Just because the cousins choose not to have a life as they take care of Mother and Sister doesn't mean I am going to follow suit. I have started texting my sister about issues... not that she can help far away, but she can listen to me vent.

I was su[posed to have beach time tomorrow, but Dad told me he bought a cake to have for my Birthday tomorrow as the cousins are going away next weekend. Ummm... I prefer beach time.

Dad said he wanted to spend my Birthday with me and do something. It's hard as he can no longer keep up with me. Walking a distance is hard and he refuses to be in a companion chair. I don't mind pushing. I have friends that need chairs and I push.

Today we went to a craft show up in Ipswich. I saw many nice things, but got sad because I haven't had time to do any painting, photography, or jewelry making. I did buy fudge and had a lobster roll.

I spent some time in the garden today. Need to clean up after all the day lilies . The super heat seems to make crabgrass grow huge. I bought some orange zinnias to brighten things up now that the Lillies have gone by. The resurrected butterfly bush has a few blooms and it is attracting Monarchs. I love gardening with the Monarch's fluttering by. It makes me happy.

I wish you had some more you time.
Thankfully when dad was still getting around okay, he was okay with me running off to do my thing.
But towards the end it was mostly getting out to go to work, so I feel some of your pain.

WOW, that must be so cool to be out in your garden with butterflies around you. :)
One of my flower beds around the house has ground hornets in it, so I haven't tried to do anything it for some time.
