ravena_kadeToday was a beautiful day. Not too wam. Low humidity. Perfect. Sadly I could not go to the beach. Instead I took Frankie the cat to the Animal ER because he is getting very itchy and I cannot get the special food without a prescription. I wanted him checked for an ear infection. The vet agreed that something was going on, but the ears looked good and she was happy that I had a cone so he could not scratch his throat out. $800 later... Oh My. We were there at 10:30 AM and not home until 4:00PM. Frankie the cat has cost me just about 2 grand this summer. Sigh.
Interesting...everyone loves my cat. He cuddles and kissed all of the staff. Staff that were not working with him were called in to listed with him and get kisses. Frankie is a bit of a whore ;-) When we left 8 people came out to say good bye to him.
We also found out that Frankie is not bothered by dogs. While he was in the carrier a giant old chocolate lab wondered over to look at Frankie and Frankie tried to rib his face against the dog. The dog was over 150 pounds and loved everybody. He had a thyroid thing going on so that is why he was so huge. He was over 12 so his person was making sure he was comfortable.
The vet staff also said that Frankie tried to play with a passing dog when he was in the back.
Since my boy is such a flirt I think he would be okay if I had to board him for a few days if I went away.
We did leave Frankie for an hour. Dad wanted lunch. He got nachos. Curious how he does tonight.

Frankie is an oddball in that department. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hope your dad does okay after the nachos.
