ravena_kadeLast week's heat had set the dallies blooming a week early. I am almost done with the heavy laden chores. One more day and all will be planted. I can do that Thursday morning.
Yesterday I went out at 6:30 and headed to Revere. It was cloudy and chilly, but I still walked in the surf. The hime beach has no surf. Surf is my meditation, calming space. I walked about 4 miles and then headed home.
I gardened for 3 hours and then headed to a retirement party with Dad and the cousins for a woman we know. She is headed south to North Carolina to be with her kids and grand kids. She will be missed, but we now she will be happy in her new life.
This morning I did 3 hours of gardening, meal prep and laundry before headed out to a Birthday party for the other nice Aunt. She turned 85. Her family is so different than her sister's. All the grand kids and great grand kids played together in the pool. The 20 somethings all enjoyed the little kids and it was nice to see. The family dog even jumped in the pool to play catch with a ball.
The weekends go by so fast. There is so much to d. It irks me to spend all the time forced in a chair at work. I guess I do miss some of the work from home time. Not that I played when I was at home. I just didn't have the 4 hours of commuting time each day.

I wish it would stop raining long enough to work on my back yard.
The grass is ridiculously long now.
