May. 27th, 2024 08:33 pmSaturday I did 4 hours of garden work. I am so far behind as I was getting home to late to do the winter garden/yard clean up. It was sunny but still chilly. A good day to work.
After I wanted to head to Revere Beach. I asked Dad if he would like to got for a lobster roll and then sit at the beach as I walked. The beach was in rough shape as it had been heavily used the ;last few days and the regular rake trucks have not started yet. It was nice to finally walk barefoot in. the salt water. Not many seashells, but the walk was still what I needed. I guess walking and looking ar emo form of meditation.
When we came home I power washed the neck. I did not find it as satisfying as I thought I would. I think a bucket and a mop would get the same results and waste less water. I also took down the old leaking inflatable spa and dragged it to the driveway. It needs to be cut up for the trash guys to take it. I am hoping to get the new up up next weekend.
Frankie cat still was scratching so I had to order him a soft cone. This one looks like a donut...to amuse the humans and not the cat.
Sunday I woke uo feeling like I was hit by a truck. The way I weak on my hands and knees does that to me. Breakfast was 1600 MM of ibuprofen and then I headed out to do more work before going to the cousins.
The cousin with cancer is back in the hospital. Her HP is high and she had a lot of fluid. She id also diabetic so they can't just drain the fluid like they did without Dad. They have her in the oncology ward so she can still get her chemo and targeted spine radiation treatment. They are pretty sure it is a kidney problem and not a heart problem.
Today I was in the yard for 6 hours. All the winder cleanup is done. Yay. The oldest cousin took Dad to a couple of casinos. I think she is his partner in crime. She is 11 years older than me and 11 years young than Dad. I trust him with her as she has taken care of many sick people so if he flopped she would not panic.
