ravena_kadeFriday I helped my cousins get home. The cousin with cancer had 6 compression fractures in her spine so they injected cement into 6 spots in her spine and sent her home. The pain shows going though on the drive home made me cry in the back seat. Sad
Friday my boss picked up her Mother. She was mad that they sent her home still contagious. I said they do that because she is a risk to all the other patients in the hospital incase the medical staff don't sanitize properly. I asked if they Foley tubed her. The boss didn't know what that was and I just said that if she had been Foley tubed she WOULD know. That means they caught it in time. Ma called me cry hysterically when they did that to her at 2 in the morning.
Yesterday I found myself in a mood. It took me 20 minutes to look at all the breads in a store for sodium levels to find that there was nothing I could buy that fits Dad's restrictions. Lo Sodium cooking SUCKS and things cost too much to buy separate food. Sigh. Funny just I was in the last isle or the market there was a tiny 3.5 pound of New England Corned Beef just waiting for me. I had said I would make one when Dad went on vacation...but said no when his trip was cancelled. Well, here it was, just waiting for me... tiny ... So I splurged. It's in a crock pot now. Dad is complaining because he can't have it ... I told him he really should stop acting like a 9 year old. It's getting on my nerves.
Yesterday I also was able to get into the garden. I put up the wind chimes and worked in the mint patch and lavender...It smelled fabulous. A great stress reliever.
