Friday the boss was in because she had no power. She packed a bag and would stay at her brother's house down here in Massachusetts. Her neighbor helped her open her garage door (all electric) to get her car out and then closed the door. I suggested that she get her laptop its own wifi like a phone has, and a charger. I have one that will run my laptop for 4 hours once the battery dies. I showered her the items on amazon and I really think the board would approve .

The boss was pretty wired again because the member service reps screwed up the release of the checks again. She asked if I was annoyed. I said that I wasn't annoyed that it happened as they don't know what they did wrong... I am annoyed that they did not care.

My cousin had a cardiologist appointment in my building. They wanted to just check her as kidney issues can cause heart issues. I went out to help the lead cousin get her sister into a wheelchair and bring her in while the lead cousin parked the car. The cousin was really confused and cold. I wheeled her down to direct cardiac care unit . 2 hours later I didn't ear anything. An hour later I received a text that they wanted to give her an IV treatment for fluid. At 2 I texted again and they were still waiting. I told lead cousin that they probably would keep her overnight. I went dow when I finished work and brought my charger cord for them to use. I stayed with them until 9PM. They kept the cousin as her potassium levels were dangerously low and she had fluid. That and she hadn't united since 7 am. Turns out that they didn't send her home Saturday night with any fluid pills. This is why I dislike weekend releases. The doctor's on weekend duty don't always have all the details. Today I got a text that they pulled 10 pounds of fluid off her.

The old laptop finally died. It won't boot up at all. I am still surprised at how long it lasted with a big bulge in it. No big deal...the new one is up and running.

I want to try and find a sd card reader that would allow me to see what is on the card and delete if I don't want them. I don't really want to upload hundreds of images to my computer just t dump them. That and they say that deleting cards in camera can cause corruption.

I walked the beach this morning. It is covered in stinky seaweed washed up from the storm. Not my favorite time to walk. I met 2 young women from Mass Audubon repairing the fencing for the Piping Plovers that was destroyed in the storm and I helped them for an hour..I just help the twine for them. The Plovers were not chased away by the storm. Yay.

Hope your cousin is OK. 10 pounds is a lot of fluid.

I hope they get things are straightened out for her and she's feeling better.

WiFi for a computer?

The wifi for the computer is a device with its own connection, like a smart phone...and your computer can use that connection.

That sounds like it could be better trying to get onto some wifi sites at hotels and things like that.
And cheaper. lol......

I feel like your visits to your cousins are examples of death nudging you with their foot so you can slow the inevitable roll to mortality and they don't have to stop by just yet.
