Yesterday the boss was in and things were good. Training. Planning. Taking minutes at a meeting where we discussed procedures etc. The only thing is that I often slip and call it a bank and refer to customers. Its a credit union and we have members. The boss corrects me. I don't mind. I get it, but my brain thinks of it as "The Little Bank That Could"

We were training around noon and the phone was busy. Both Member Services Reps were with people. The boss answered the phone a few times. I asked her if she would like me to pick up the phone when the team was busy. I could ask people to please hold... or something. I then said that I have enough years customer service that I could handle any member... and then I realized what came out of my mouth and I wanted to choke myself. Yes, I guess once you hit an age everything is a double entendre... The boss put up her hands and said that she wouldn't touch that one.... and then thank me for offering to take phone calls. So glad my boss is a 58 year old woman...so glad I didn't say that to a male boss...
