The vibe at the cousin house was odd... and to be expected given the circumstances.
The cousin with the cancer looked good. She needs to use a walker. They did a complete MRI on Friday and found that she has compound fractures in her spine that were not there before she went in the hospital Turns out she fell going to the bathroom. When she walks she needs to wear a back brace that looks like a life jacket. When she sits she has to take it off. she ate and watched TV. Had decent focus and could carry a conversation. She could not do these things 2 weeks ago.
I offered to help when they needed me. Just call or text.
When we got home I wanted to enjoy the sunshine so I walked the beach. I found a starfish. I have never seen one here. It was probably blown in by one of the many wind storms we have had. I'm going to see if I can dry it out. I have bleached it.
