I adulted today.... got my taxes done. It's a shame that the government treats a lay off like you won the lottery. I got screwed. At least it will help bump my social security up a bit. Ouch ouch ouch.

Finding out that Dad interprets things very differently than I do. Could be age. But I know I can't rely on him to relay messages anymore.

It's gross out. Pouring rain. Gross. Gross Gross.

Went grocery shopping. Ouch. I can no longer shop at the name grocery stores. Just too expensive... Also $7 for Miracle Whip. For that price I should get a miracle. There is a meat market that has good prices, then for other things I have to become a person of Walmart. I don't like that... but I still did take a pay cut and a $2000 increase in property taxes and owed on my income tax... bah.

At least the tax anxiety is over.

Tomorrow is a new day. I have something creative to get done. I should do it tonight, but the wind and rain are distracting. It's a night for watching TV.

Yes, Un-enjoyment comes with a high price. Less take-home followed by a royal screwing at tax time. :(

We joke about Whole Food being "whole paycheck" but Stop & Shop is coming up fast. I pick up odds and ends at other places because it's in stick and cheaper. I console myself by calling it "very European shopping"

I have to pop off the mortal coil before Frank because I have never done my own taxes. I know, right?
