ravena_kadeI find myself in a surly place.
I am a bit of an alien this time of year and the job hunt has made it worse
I had posted to a job board and some anonymous head hunter person went on a 6 paragraph lecture on how someone without a degree shows that they are low life and have no accompaniments to show for their lives and thats all that HR sees and I wont get a job. Blah blah blah
It's too cold to go walk a beach to walk it off.
Wednesday I went out and made little gift bags for the ceramics student. Most did not show. There was also supposed to be food and drink, but the one who said they would bring it decided not to.
One the way home the friend with the shop asks Leif I remember a conversation with a woman from Sought Boston about her starting up a ceramics class in her elder cousin building. They had a kiln and stuff and I said that if she came to the shop she could by items and if she had questions we could help. I would even give her my email address. Well my friend says that the woman has made flyers and such and is starting a class and that she said that we said we would teach there. I agreed that we did not say that. My friend said she didn't want to do it but she guesses she is doing it on Wednesday afternoons...
Ummmm...how about asking if I wanted to take the job if she really doesn't want to do the job? Im a better teacher. I need a job and I wanted to work in a senior center. WTF. Im a great ceramics person and my "friend wont pay me to pour molds or let me have a class... WTF. This sucks.

As for my friend...I am tired of promoting ceramics and my work goes to her. I dont want to start a class at the shop in case I get stuck with a job that doesnt finish to 5 and I cant get home until 7.
