ravena_kadeInterview was friendly and well received. The HR person's name was also Jennifer. Not sure if that is good luck or not.
Did the "where do you see yourself in 5 years question. Not living in a box is how I want to answer...but didn't. I said I would like to gain more experience in the area of development. I understand that this is just a gift processor role, but I would like to grow and maybe be a part of organizing some new campaigns and fundraising events.
She did ask about my education and said she would see if they could go forward where I did not have an associates degree. She said that there are guidelines with many positions. I said that I was aware that many places had such policies (boy am I freaking aware). She did some tying and continued the interview. Asked about times I went above and beyond. I have 2 standard examples... one is with the insurance agent whose house burnt down from a Christmas Tree fire and the other with an elder woman whose social security debt card was eaten by the banks ATM (leaving out that my boss wanted to throw the legal papers away on that case).
She said she would get back to me about either a zoom meeting or in person meeting tomorrow or Friday. I could not do Thursday because of a scheduled appointment. (Dad has cardiology testing for 3 hours Thursday).
