Received the rejection notice from the insurance company that I interviewed at on Tuesday. At least I have closure on that. Liberty mutual also responded with a not qualified... I have 29 yer experience in insurance..but no degree so not qualified to do the job I did for years. Business people are stupid. It's not that no one wants to work. No one wants to hire unless everything is perfect. They are looking for unicorns. I am looking for healthcare.

Went and visited DQ and roommate. Roommate is doing well, but DQ is really depressed and it is taking its toll. She was brought up with a rich family experience...I know because they were my adopted family...My Christmas Family... and now she only has her younger brother and older sister and they can't drive. The 20 nieces and nephews cant be bothered to see them. It is sad. I know I can visit more now that I don't have a stress job.

Funny, they both thought I should start a you tube channel to make money. I'm not sure I have anything worth following. They think I could do ceramic tutorials.

My right arm is bothering me. Cant extend it too far. I know it is from a Husky we have at the shelter. He is a beautiful dog, but pulls way too much. They are like that...very pretty, but complete bozos without proper training. Which is why they get dumped at shelters.

Today I am making the soup of my Grandmothers. I will split the batches again..one traditional and one low sodium.

that no degree thing is so f-ing ridiculous when it comes to hiring qualified people. now they're screaming that 'no one wants to work' and how they don't want to raise wages, and how it's young people's fault that they paid for a degree and now they have loans... but faced with someone with nearly 30 years experience... it's "you have no degree." it makes me want to scream.

It is so bloody annoying that companies put so much emphasis on college degrees.
The world got on fine without them for many a year.
The Minnesota governor recently announced they were dropping the 4 year college degree for government jobs. YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ouch, I hope your are is feeling better soon.

I know at least two people who are trying to do that. It's incredibly hard work. You need at least 1,000 followers before you can start earning any money, and you need to be constantly posting content to get those followers. It's not a job that I'd want to try to do.

Ii figured you knew it wasn't viable. You're a smart cookie. I commented mainly so you have something to say to them if they bring it up again.

I didn't know you needed 1,000 followers until my friend posted about how she was almost at 1,000 subscribers. She's currently got 2,400 subscribers, but it's taken her four years to get to this point and she hasn't quit her day job and she's still writing about how money is tight so I don't think she's making any money at all (at least not enough to mention).

I think you need to hit like 50K followers to actually make it like a job.. and I think I earned more at the bank.
