Have done my job hunting for the day...sent out 3 applications.
One job is exactly what I was doing. It's in Southie so I know where I am. The money is the same with potential for more. The only stumbling block is my needing to get Dad to appointments. We shall what comes of it.
I followed up on the Senior Center job too. I feel a bit cringe where there is a sick child, but it's been 10 days.
I will follow up with the place with the library vibe tomorrow, just out of protocol. It's a good company even if I was too friendly and they are using a system from the 1980 ;-) The never asked my cousin about me even though they walked me over to her desk. The follow up is still good as it counts as activity for my unemployment claim.
