ravena_kadeStill have not heard back from the senior center about the job. I followed on Monday and on Wednesday the person who interviewed me replied and said that she had to take a few days off because her toddler had come down with the RMV virus. She would let me know when she makes the decision. I wouldn't have figured it would be too hard, but what do I know. There must be plenty of people answering a bookkeeper job posting who are also experienced in elder care and planning events got elders... and even knowing what events they have and are able to run programs for them as well as do office work. Sigh I wonder it she had to cancel interviews and is now trying to reschedule.
I would just like to know before Tuesday. I now have 2 other interviews on Tuesday. One at a place that I want to work, but the pay would be less than the senior center and come with stress.
The other is bank situation that would come with stress and could involve face to face customer service and is the same pay as the other 2. The person I spoke with yesterday could not tell me what type of "help" people who wonder inter the office may need. I do not want to handle money. I have no desire to be robbed at gunpoint for a job. The job is listed as back office with sometimes helping customers.
I think it's a bit of a joke that I am getting all this traction when I am trying to prep for a craft show.
