This morning, at 6 AM, I applied for a job at a Boston senior housing place by South Station. I laughed as one of the requirements was use of hands. Fingers for fingering.

At 10:30 I received a call from a gentleman on a speakerphone asking if I had a minute to go over some pre interview questions. The job is for an office clerk. It seemed to go okay. My office skills and customer service skills are solid. He asked me about how I have handled conflict in an office. I gave him an example from the bank that felt with a senior citizen not getting their social security $$$ from an ATM. I thought it would be most relevant. My pay requirement was within their pay scale. He said he would get back to me about an online interview with the director.

I looked up their website and its a non profit. The website is put together nicely. The benefits look standard, but that's okay. They say flexible scheduling, but this job is 9 to 5. My flexible needs to be for Dr appointments. We shall see what they say.

Im still hoping for the senior center to come through as that would align with my arts/crafts side and what I want to do when I am 62 or 65 depending. I really hope they are not going to ghost me.

This will be good interview experience.

Not that it helps but non-profits are *notorious* for taking forever to make a decision, so no word is not necessarily a no
