Yesterday started out fairly well. I got out and about. I need to get out and about more before the bad weather hits. Staying locked up is not the best for me.

I did not hear anything back from the people I interviewed with. Maybe they took Monday off, maybe someone else was cheaper to hire. I told myself earlier that it wouldn't matter, but the thoughts of going back to corporate is depressing. But to keep a roof over my Dad's head and me not living in the cellar I don't think I get a choice.

I have decided to change my days as job hunting on line is like the doom scrolling of the pandemic for me. Since I have to get up at 4 AM with Dad for the medical regime I will not go back to bed. I will job hunt and apply to all postings that I can find that were published that day and stop at 7 or 8 am. Get the disagreeable parts done and then be me. Paint and putter around the house.

Best of luck to you. It's such a depressing place to be :( Each time I've been in a similar situation, depression hits hard. I hope you find something soon.

Most always never get back to you, but this interview felt so solid. I really thought I'd start a job next Monday.
